Pokimane accuses Ninja of trying to help JiDion avoid Twitch’s harsher ban

Famous streamer Pokimane has alleged Ninja support fellow content creator JiDion in receiving a lighter punishment after being banned for harassment.

During a December 13 stream, Pokimane ended her stream after JiDion’s viewers flooded Pokimane’s channel with hateful and inaccurate messages. This resulted in JiDionbeing being banned for 14 days, a suspension that would be converted into a permanent ban.

The series continued, however, as Pokimane alleges that JiDion viewers flocked to Ninja in hopes of helping the streamer return to Twitch. Pokimane reference to a clip that has now been deleted to which JiDion reacted, with Ninja stating that JiDion can’t “rate bitches” on Twitch.

Pokimane took offense at the Ninja’s language, saying “JiDion apparently immediately took it as the Ninja calling me a bitch. Ninja then said that he is generally bitches. Pokimane went on to question, “I wonder if Ninja would say ‘bitch’ if it was a big male streamer hated raiding.”

Pokimane also said Ninja promised he would help JiDion by contacting his representative at Twitch.

“Why would Ninja help someone evade the ban from harassing me, I don’t know. I really don’t know,” Pokimane said. “Yes, it was bad that night when there were so many messages in my chat, but Ninja’s behavior was really what surprised and bothered me the most.”

Later in the stream, Pokimane shows some DM between her and Ninja. The messages show Ninja denying he ever contacted his Twitch representatives about JiDion’s ban. Ninja also sends Pokimane an ominous message: “Also, you’re making a big mistake.”

In response, the Ninja was tweeted that “all will be explained,” but no details were provided at the time of writing.

Update Jan 17 7:21 p.m. CT: Pokimane has tweeted a text message between her and Ninja’s wife and manager Jessica. In the message, Jessica said she and Ninja are “looking into any character smears at this time with our legal team involved.” Jessica accused Pokimane of “lying tens of thousands of people”. In a separate tweet, Pokimane said she’s “ready to accept” the theory that Ninja didn’t actually contact his Twitch rep but pretended to do so on the stream.
