Pokémon UNITE passes 50 million downloads between Nintendo Switch and mobile devices

Pokémon UNITE Already downloaded more than 50 million times in combination across multiple platforms, The Pokémon Company and TiMi Studio announced today.

The 10-minute MOBA game based on Pokémon characters was released in July 2021 for the Nintendo Switch and available on iOS and Android in September. To celebrate this historic achievement, the developers are giving away 2,000 Aeos Ticket, which can be used to purchase Upgrade Item, Holowear and Hold Item, per trainer logged in Pokémon UNITE from December 9 to January 31.

Pokémon UNITE will start giving away 2,000 Aeos Tickets on the same day Tsareena is introduced to the group of champions. Pokémon Fruit will be the 28th playable character in the game and will be offered for free for a limited time as part of a special “anniversary update gift” campaign.

During the game cycle, Pokémon UNITE rewarded the player base with Free Aeos Tickets, Upgrade Items, Super Upgrade Items, and Fusion Licenses. All of these may have played a part in why the game has become so popular, even among players who don’t love Pokémon or MOBAs.

2,000 Aeos Tickets will be redeemed via system message if the developers follow what they have been doing since the game’s launch.
