Pokemon Legends: Arceus Linking Cord Location: How to make trade developments

Find the link wire in Pokemon Legend: Arceus is essential to develop three fan favorites Pokemon. Trade developments work a little differently in this game. Players will have to receive an item for Graveler, Haunter, and Kadabra to evolve. Fortunately, it’s not too difficult to find the Link Wire location, even though it wasn’t available at first.

Where to get Links in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Links are sold at the Trading Station northwest of Jubilife Village. The player can buy it for 1,000 Merit Points. This is quite a high price because the Commendation Points can only be obtained by Return lost bags through Lost & Found. Since each of these only gives about 50-100 Virtues, it will take 10-20 satchels to buy each Link.

Luckily, players can get a free Link String from Requirement 64, “Acquaintance with Ghosts.” All the player has to do to complete this is complete Gastly’s entry in the Pokedex. You can find Gastly in the following locations:

• Coronet Plateau:
  • Bolderoll Ravine
  • Celestica Ruins
  • Sacred Plaza
• Crimson Mirelands:
  • Gapejaw Bog
  • Golden Lowlands
  • Scarlet Bog
  • Covered ruins

Gastly is relatively common in these regions, and it won’t take long enough to do enough research to unlock its full entry. Then just go back to the NPC that gave the quest and they’ll give you a Link.

Luckily, there are only three Pokemon we’ve found so far that require a Link String to evolve:

• Graveler → Golem
• Haunter → Gengar
• Kadabra → Alakazam

All three of these Pokemon are great Pokemon, so it’s worth rummaging around a bit to get the items needed to evolve all three. As long as the player gets one of them for free, it shouldn’t take too long to get the Virtue Points needed for the other two.
