Pokemon Legends: Arceus – How to get Abra

Pokemon Legends: Arceus trainers can catch Abra pretty early in the game, and they can follow this quick guide to learn how.
Pokemon Legend: Arceus Trainers are tasked with catching multiple specimens of most Pokemon to complete their Pokedex entries, and there are plenty of creatures to find in the main areas of the game. One annoying person to catch is Abra, but Pokemon Legend: Arceus players can follow this quick guide to learn how to do that.
How to catch Abra
The main reason why Abra can be quite hard to get in Pokemon Legend: Arceus is that it usually spawns alone, and it is also quick to use Teleport when detecting players from a distance. Sometimes a warned Abra will teleport in the general vicinity of where it was previously, but other times it will disappear.
Ideally, players will want to try hiding in tall grass or behind cover, such as trees or rocks, and slowly creep up on Abra. Using berries or other foods will distract the Pokemon, and throwing a Poke Ball at Abra from behind will increase the chances of success. However, Abrams escaped Poke Ball will quickly try to use Teleport and run away.
Using Spoiled Apricorns can also be useful if the player can quickly aim for Abra and throw their items, as Pokemon tend to teleport to other nearby locations every few seconds, even if they player is not detected. Damaged Apricorns can stun them for a short time, making it easier to reposition behind and throw a Poke Ball.
Where to find Abra
There are several locations where Abra spawns Pokemon Legend: Arceusbut the most consistent – and also the earliest – is Windswept Run in Fields of Obsidian, not far from Camp Heights. Players who have not unlocked Heights Camp can cross the bridge in Aspiration Hill and head to the right side of the cliffs where the Deertrack Path begins. After running along the beach for a while, the player will reach Windswept Run and find an Abra or two hanging on the beach.
There are other locations where Abra can be found, such as the Sandgem Flats in the Obsidian Fieldlands, and Lake Acuity in the Alabaster Icelands. Sandgem Flats has high tier Pokemon, and so does Lake Acuity in Alabaster Icelands, meaning the best place to get Abra is still Windswept Run.
