Pokemon Legends: Arceus confirms Darkrai

In the latest Japanese trailer for Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Game Freak confirms a mythical Pokemon will appear in the game.

Pokemon Legend: Arceus‘release coming soon, after launch Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl for Switch. The half open world Pokemon position is a far cry from the main series, which offers players large open areas set in the old-fashioned Sinnoh setting (known as the Hisui region), which takes place many years ago.

The Pokemon Company released a new trailer for the game today, mentioning two other groups living in the Hisui region known as the Diamond Clan and the Pearl Clan. The names of these two clans pay homage to the original Diamond and Pearl Game. It also took a look at some new characters who were the young leaders of these clans, named Adaman and Irida. However, there is some new information shared that is not included in the English trailer for Pokemon Legend: Arceus that fans will want to know about.

In the Japanese gameplay footage trailer for Pokemon Legend: Arceus, it was revealed that Legendary Pokemon Darkrai from the fourth generation of the main games will be available for players to add to their battle team. Unfortunately, Shadow-type Pokemon won’t be for anyone. To add Darkrai to the team, Pokemon Legend players will need a save file on their Switch system from either Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Pokemon Shining Pearl.

If there is a save file, the player will be able to make a research request in Pokemon Legend: Arceus when the credits roll. By saving data from the remakes, fans can also get for themselves Modern Team Galactic suits, including Modern Jackets, Modern Trousers and Modern Shoes. To receive clothing items, players will need to visit the clothing store after joining the Galactic Expedition. The Pokemon Company states that it will take players about an hour of playtime before reaching this point in the story.

While Darkrai is available for players In the original Diamond and Pearl game for DS, it can only be met through special events or pass Pokemon Ranger. Pokemon is meant to not harm people in the Pokemon universe, but it does protect itself from danger by putting people to sleep and having terrible nightmares.
