Pokemon GO – Legendary and Mega Raid Battle Schedule January 2021
Only a few days left until the new year and Pokemon GO players participate in an exciting rotation of events (including new year festival) and activities when January arrives. In addition to the continuation and subsequent phase of Season of Heritage, the arrival of the new month means another rotation of Battle Raid bosses. Once again, there are some very powerful Legendary and Mega bosses set to appear next month.
The event calendar for Pokemon GO’s January 2021 has been published, so in addition to the upcoming events, trainers can also review all the Legendary and Mega Raid bosses confirmed for the first month of 2022 right now. This month includes some hugely popular picks and some very interesting shiny opportunities for anyone still striving for a complete shiny Pokedex. There will also be a new set of moves that can be rocking Pokemon GO meta game.
Kyurem will stick around through the first week of the new year before Heatran takes over the five-star spot. At the end of the month, Genesect and Regice will also appear. Genesect (Shock Drive) captured during this stage will know the Techno Blast attack, which can create some interesting new options in the PvE and PvP battle scenes after the player does some testing. Even so, things are looking pretty standard on the Mega Raid side, with Return of Mega Abomasnow and Mega Aerodactyl. There are plenty of great opportunities here, so players will want to mark their calendars and plan to use their Raid Pass wisely throughout January.

January raid time
Every Wednesday in January, the Time of Raid event will take place from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time. The following Pokemon will be introduced.
January 5: Kyurem
January 12: Heatran
January 19: Genesect (Shock Drive)
January 26: Regic
As always, it’s possible that additional Battle Raids could pop up as unexpected events come and go throughout the next month, and there are already some surprises promised for the final week of the month. Keep an eye on nearby radar for anything particularly interesting or surprising as December rolls around over the next few days.
