Pokemon GO is increasingly defined by insurmountable challenges
Niantic is always busy with Pokemon GO. By introducing Seasons, Niantic has new events to plan and manage, many of which are longer and more complex than the popular mobile game’s first events. Pokemon GO Sections provide lore reasons to introduce new Pokemon and bring Legendary Pokemon back to Raid. New features like Sections and extra Pokemon have been retained Pokemon GO feels fresh after all these years, and with so much potential content left to add, the future of the game is still bright. Even so, Pokemon GOThe drastic changes have had both positive and negative effects.
Eg, Pokemon GO Players frequently expressed concerns about the game’s challenges, some of which were impossible to complete or were too difficult to be realistic. Sure Pokemon GO medals are difficult to obtain, and some Special Research quests have not been completed for months or years. Pokemon GONew content happening and bug fixes are great, but Niantic seems to have accidentally left out some aspects of the game. For the sake of Pokemon GOQuality and fan satisfaction, Niantic should reconsider Pokemon GOThe oldest Medal and Special Research.
Pokemon GO’s Outdated Challenges
Although Niantic tweaked some of the game’s achievement-like medals to accommodate other changes in Pokemon GO, Others have fallen to the curb. Eg, the Pokemon GO Fisher and Youngster Platinum Medal required to capture 1,000 extremely large Magikarp and extremely small Rattata, respectively. Even the first day Pokemon GO players, these are hard to come by, especially since Magikarp and Rattata rarely have many Pokemon involved. Other scary platinum medals include the Superhero badge, which requires beating Giovanni 50 times. Considering how rarely Giovanni raised his head Pokemon GO, That medal can take years to claim.
Pokemon GO fans also have a number of different Special Research quests that they can’t complete as their goals are intrinsically tied to the past. Pokemon GO incident. The “Let’s GO, Meltan” quest requirement to capture five Exeggcutes may seem innocuous, but if the player doesn’t live in a place where Exeggcute is frequent, they’ll be stuck with an unfinished Meltan quest. Perhaps even more difficult, the Season of Legends Special Research asked players Landorus snapshot, which only appeared briefly in Raid Battles. Players who have never completed a Landorus raid are now stuck with a month-old quest, barred from receiving its rewards.
The comfort for Pokemon GO players
A lot of Pokemon GO Players are annoyed because the game requires them to complete near-impossible goals and Niantic should pay attention. Challenges like these are starting to pile up and players want to take some of the challenges seriously. Niantic might want to consider holding an event tailored to perfect the outdated Special Research, bringing back Landorus, Exeggcute, and other specific Pokemon mentioned in the Special Study. It may consider adjustment Pokemon GOIts medal count is small to make platinum medals easier to obtain.
This is not to say that Niantic should award players medals and Special Research rewards. These goals are part of lasting joy in Pokemon GO, offers players more specific challenges than simply finding strong or rare Pokemon. However, Pokemon GOYour goals need to be balanced and achievable. If the player has no practical way to complete Pokemon GO challenges, activities lose their value and become a source of frustration. Pokemon GO seems to be getting more stubborn targets, which suggests it’s time for Niantic to hit the refresh button.
