Regice is a pure Ice-type Pokemon, which means it is technically weak against Battle, Rock, Fire, and Steel attacks. Most popular access strategies focus on Fire’s weak point, so trainers will want to look through the Fires in their collection and find the strongest options available. You can find some of the best counters and corresponding movers in this list:

  • Charizard (Mega Y) – Fire Spin / Blast Burn
  • Reshiram – Fire Fang / Overheat
  • Metagross – Bullet Punch / Meteor Mash
  • Charizard (Mega X) – Fire Spin / Blast Burn
  • Moltres – Fire Cycle / Overheat
  • Chandelure – Fire Cycle / Overheating
  • Conkeldurr – Counter / Dynamic Punch
  • Houndoom (Mega) – Flame Fang / Flamethrower
  • Gengar (Mega) – Lick / Focus Blast
  • Entei – Fire Cycle / Overheat
  • Heatran – Fire Wheel / Flamethrower

Regice is a seriously bulky boss with quite a bit of health, so it would be wise for players to enter this fight with at least five friends who are also preparing a good lineup of suitable counters. Endgame players can beat Regice with a total of four or five players if they have the right bonuses and perfect counters, but it’s much easier to bring along a few extra trainers and play it safe.

Trainers will want to note that they don’t need to have the correct counters and movesets listed above in order to successfully defeat and encounter Legendary Pokemon. They could only focus on using the strongest Fires available and if possible, write through a TM . number, Stardust and Candy to prepare a respectable squad. Most of the counters involved for this fight are often useful for other Raid Battles, so it probably won’t be a one-time investment.

Players should learn more about the exact details of other activities throughout The coming days of Heritage Season. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, coaches!
