Pokemon Emerald fans show impressive Gondola criss-crossing

An art fan decided to do a cross stitch design based on the classic gondola ride seen in Pokemon Emerald for the Game Boy Advance.
Released for the Game Boy Advance in 2004, Pokemon Emerald is an upgraded version of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire from Generation 3. Among the memorable parts of the game is a cable car going through a forest. This gondola ride is part of Route 112 that will take Pokemon trainers to the top of Chimney Mountain. Recently, a nostalgic gamer decided to recreate this classic game screen Pokemon scene in an unusual, yet stunning work of art.
In a Reddit post, a user named LockedFrank shared an image of a recent cross stitch project they worked on. However, this is no ordinary design. Instead, this cross stitch has created a image of a Pokemon trainer traveling on a gondola that closely resembles the one seen in Pokemon Emerald. This design captures many elements from the scene from the game, such as the trainer looking out from the cable car at the distant horizon. Aside from the gondola ride, the background is stunning as it has a lush evergreen forest with a mountain range in the distance.
In addition to introducing impressionist art in a painting, LockedFrank revealed the steps behind the creation Pokemon criss-cross design. According to the creators, they used screenshots from the game as a reference and “pixel by pixel” while working on the project. Also, they revealed that they used an 8” loop along with 16 fabrics to embroider the cross. It took about 30-40 hours to complete the design when all was said and done. However, they note that it can take a few hours if they don’t look at their phone often while working on it Pokemon plan.
Unsurprisingly, much Members of the Pokemon community on Reddit noticed this impressive cross stitch design done by LockedFrank. With more than 9,700 support in just one day, many people consider this art very nostalgic. Many commented on the impressive level of detail of the cross stitch, others wanted to entrust the creator to create more nostalgic reproductions of the design. Unfortunately, LockedFrank has revealed that they are not interested in creating the extra diagonal stitches of the Pokemon gondola, note that it takes a lot of time and effort to complete just one.
This is just one of many fan creations based on Pokemon series. Besides this beautiful gondola cross embroidery, another embroidery recently fans did Pokemon statues from everyday objects, such as beer bottles and candy.
