Pokémon Company reveals Brilliant Stars pre-release promo

Pokémon TCG’s first set of 2021 is just over a month from its release, and fans have finally culminated in four pre-release commercials accompanying the set.

The Pokémon Company today revealed an image consisting of four cards for Shining stars. These four cards are Moltres, Lucario, Liepard and Bilbarel. You can get these cards by purchasing a Build & Battle box from your local retailer.

All four of these cards are expected to show up in Shining stars because they are part of Pokémon OCG Star Britain and 100-set Start Deck, but these pre-release promotional cards with alternative artwork were not released in Japan.

As usual, the cards are branded with the symbol for their set, in this case Shining stars. This set not only offers a variety of new cards for Pokémon TCG, but it will be the first company in the West to introduce the V-Star card.

So far, we have seen four V-Star cards issued through Pokémon OCG Star Birth and these cards, Charizard, Arceus, Shaymin and Whimiscott will be available in Shining stars.

Fans can get these cards when the set launches in stores on February 25.
