Some Pokémon US players will need to wait a little longer to get their hands on the upcoming addition to the franchise, Pokémon Legend: Arceus. According to reports, Pokémon Center has told customers that shipping will be delayed by at least three days due to “global shipping restrictions”.
Fans who pre-ordered the game at Pokémon Center stores shared their disappointment via social media. Pokebeach shared a copy of the email allegedly sent to the buyer, explaining the reason for the delay and providing a timeline for when they’ll likely see their copy of the game .
“Due to global shipping restrictions, we anticipate deliveries of Pokémon Legend: Arceus, ”Email with content. “Due to this delay, your order will likely arrive between January 31 and February 4, 2022, rather than the expected delivery date of January 28.”
Despite existing shipping delays in the Pokémon Center supply chain, some players in the United States appear to have gotten their hands on the new game. This can be seen by a series of leaks coming from the game over the past 24 hours.
