Lapras is a majestic Water/Ice-type Pokemon that has been around since the first generation of Pokemon and has made a name for itself by being one of the Ash Ketchum’s main Pokemon in the anime series, at least for the first few seasons. Before players get ahead of themselves, they need to know that Lapras can only be obtained when the trainer becomes a Pokemon League Champion and obtains the National Dex from Rowan.
How to get National Dex in Pokemon BDSP
To get the National Dex in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining pearls, the player must first defeat the Elite Four and see all 150 Pokemon in the Sinnoh Pokedex base. Once all monsters have been sighted, the player must go to Sandgem Town and talk to Professor Rowan. He will then add a Country Mode to the player’s Pokedex and new regions will be available to the player, as well as “new” Pokemon.
Where to find Lapras in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Once Pokemon BDSP players have defeat the Elite Four and obtain the National Dex, they will have access to the area where wild Lapras can be encountered. The easiest way to get to its location is first use the Hidden Move Fly to go to the front of the Pokemon Alliance. Lapras is inside Victory Road, but players need to enter it from the back, otherwise they will take too long to find Lapras exactly.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining pearls The player should follow these exact steps to get to Lapras’ location in Victory Road, starting from the Pokemon League:

From the entrance of the Alliance, players should use the HM Surf and head down south of the waterfall until they reach the entrance/exit of Victory Road.

Go inside and follow the path, pass the trainer and go down the rocks using the Rock Climb.

Don’t jump over the cliff here. Instead, go left and take the first path north, going under a small bridge.

When the player sees a trainer, go up the small stairs to his left.

Cross the path and just follow the path until you reach a door. Go inside the door and then follow the path straight to the next room.

This room will be foggy, so make sure using Defog from the HM . app.

The waters in this room have a 10% chance of having Lapras inside of them. If the trainer really wants this Pokemon, they will simply keep Surfing until it pops up.
