Pokemon Black and White Remake Release Date Conversion

Fans have been looking forward to the next Pokemon remakes. ONE Black and white Pokemon release date remake seems almost inevitable, but when can we expect it? We’ll see when they might release and if they’ll show up on Switch or not.

What is the release date for the Pokemon Black and White remake?

There is still no official release date for the Pokemon Black and White remake. However, Weird game has steadily produced remakes since the release of Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen. Since then, every generation except Gen 5 has had a remake of the previous Pokemon title.

Here are the North American release dates for the Pokemon remakes we’ve seen so far:

• Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen: September 7, 2004
• Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver: March 14, 2010
• Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire: November 21, 2014
• Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go Eevee!: November 16, 2018
• Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl: November 19, 2021

So we can expect a remake to be released every 3-4 years. If that keeps happening, we’ll get a remake of Pokemon Black and White in 2024-2025. We could, however, get a set of Pokemon: Let’s Go Johto titles, which could put potential Black and White remakes on hold even more. If that happens, we may not receive them until 2027-2028.

It’s also entirely possible that we don’t get another remake. With Pokemon Legends: Arceus, it looks like Game Freak is trying something new. This could lead the company to change its typical release model. If so, the studio may decide to focus only on new games. Alternatively, it could have the same company making the Diamond and Pearl remake, ILCA, handle other companies in the future.

Since it will probably be a couple of years before we see a Pokemon Black and White remake, Nintendo may have already moved on to its next console by then. So they will probably launch on Switch 2 (or whatever Nintendo calls it).
