Darrell Edward Brooks, the suspected attacker who drove an SUV into the Waukesha Christmas parade in Wisconsin, killing at least six people and injuring dozens more, appeared in court Tuesday.
The suspect appeared before the court via virtual conference along with his attorney and the court clerk. The suspect in the Waukesha massacre stood in court and was asked a simple question.
His reaction was the first known thing Brooks had said since the horrific tragedy that struck Sunday, November 21.

“Yes,” the suspect replied, according to Fox News.
That’s all Brooks will say, because his attorney has asked to withdraw from the case. Joseph Domask, Brooks’ attorney, asked to withdraw from the case, arguing that he had multiple ties to the victims of the incident. Judge Davis Feiss made the recommendation.
Domask represented Brooks in court on November 5 for allegedly running over his ex-girlfriend in his SUV in a gas station parking lot on November 2, Fox News reported. Brooks is still facing charges of reckless endangerment, felony, domestic abuse, jumping and resisting arrest for alleged assault.
