According to anonymous sources and reviewed documents, a new project is being worked on at PlayStation with the codename ‘Spartacus’. The service was supposed to merge PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now, keeping the ‘PlayStation Plus’ name while they phased out the ‘Now’ service.

The new service will be divided into three levels. The first tier includes existing PlayStation Plus benefits like access to online multiplayer and free monthly games. While the second tier includes a large catalog of PlayStation 4 titles, with PlayStation 5 titles expected to join later. Finally, if you’re willing to shell out for the third tier, you’ll get access to extensive demos, game streaming, and a huge library of classic titles from PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS3. PSP.
