Player’s Porter Gage from Fallout 4 Appears With Missing Eye Patch
A Fallout 4 player noticed that their version of Porter Gage, the Nuka-World DLC companion, had lost his memorable eyepatch.
Fallout 4 Players have many different types of companions in the game to choose from. With Nuka-World DLC, that list has grown to include a memorable racer named Porter Gage. However, it is clear that one player started this add-on to Fallout 4 only to find that the character’s memorable eyepatch is gone.
Fallout 4 released in 2015 with Nuka-World add-ons after it in August 2016. This extra content brought players to Nuka-World Theme Park with its huge raider population. Porter Gage is a potential companion through this add-on and is known for his eye patch.
This new look for Porter Gage comes from u/Fordzealot91 and it’s a bit strange for those who have played this add-on. As the right-hand man of Nuka-World’s Overboss, the character usually has a raider-inspired eye patch that covers his right eye, potentially masking some form of injury. However, in u/Fordzealot91’s image, Porter Gage doesn’t have that iconic eyepatch. Apparently, the character design doesn’t have any damage to the part of the face where the eyepatch is normally placed. It is unclear if this is due to lack of detail or Porter Gage is just wearing an eyepatch to see. Players don’t mention how they stumbled upon this change, but it gives the character a different feel.
The player has the option to change the look of their companion in Fallout 4 and this could be the cause of what players see here. There is a bug in the game that can remove Porter Gage’s eyepatch if the player asks him to put on an item such as a gas mask and then remove it. It’s likely something along these lines happened to create this quirky, new version of Porter Gage.
NS Nuka-World add-ons that give players more content Fallout 4 and introduces an exciting new area but with only one new companion: Porter Gage. While an interesting number and an important number for plot of Nuka-World, more companions can lead to more dynamics in this DLC.
Then again, Porter Gage is the only companion in the game that acts as a part-time merchant in the game. Fallout 4. And their privilege, Lessons in the Blood, is one of better companion perks in Fallout 4. Either way, u/Fordzealot91 shows what this additional companion looks like without their eyepatch, and it’s an interesting sight.
