The Prime Minister attended the national Thanksgiving service with his wife Carrie as part of the anniversary celebrations.

What happened at St. Paul’s Cathedral?

Some members of the crowd booed their arrival as they got out of his car.

However, there was also cheering for the Prime Minister from other spectators.

Despite the awkward moment, neither Mr Johnson nor his wife responded to the boos that could be heard as they walked up the steps to the cathedral.
