Over 1 quarter
The Golden State Warriors are on their way but don’t look any worse. Both teams had the edge to win, but they led the Detroit Pistons 28-23.
The warriors relied on guns to protect Jordan Poole, who has 11 points beyond three tables, and small striker Andrew Wiggins, who has eight points along with two bounces. Detroit hasn’t had any standout attacks so far with all players holding onto seven points or less.
This is the first time the Dubs team has gone ahead into the second half in the past five games.

Golden State didn’t have too much trouble with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the top lane on Thursday as they won 104-89. The win was made possible by a strong breakout after the third quarter to overcome the 81-68 deficit. Warriors Point Guardian Stephen the curry did his thing and shot 9-to-16 from downtown and finished with 40 points and six assists.
Meanwhile, Detroit got a solid win over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday, with a 97-89 win. Top scorers for the Pistons are forward power Jerami Grant (19 points) and shooting guard Cory Joseph (18 points).
Barring any buzzer beaters, Golden State is expected to win in a tight contest. They have been consistent earners against spread in favor (8-4-1), so they might be worth a quick bet.
The win takes Golden State to 13-2 and Detroit to 4-10. Some offensive stats to watch out for: The Warriors taking part in the competition boast the highest goal-on-field ratio in the league at 47.40%. On the other end of the spectrum, the Pistons can only knock out 40.80% of their shots, which is the lowest percentage of on-field goals in the league.
