They couldn’t do it.

A shell fired by Vladimir Putin’s forces into the Irpin suburb of Kyiv killed the family instantly. Video of the attack will go around the world, serving as a shocking recap of the brutality of the Kremlin’s murderous invasion.

Minutes after the explosion, first responders covered up the bodies of Tatyana Perebeynos as well as daughter Alise, 9, and son Nikita, 18. Their rolled up bag was the only thing left.
