Phantasy Star Online 2: Sandstorm Requiem Coming to December 15th, Special events available

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will get it the first major update, Sandstorm Requiem, on December 15th. This update introduces the new area of ​​Retem, increases the level cap, adds new skills, new title system and more.

Sandstorm Requiem adds a new area, and as the title suggests, Retem is a desert, filled with dunes, canyons, and rugged terrain. The weather and resources are well worth exploring as things are very different from what people are used to. There are new enemies, like Fortos Launcher, Fortos Laser: DOLLS, Metius: DOLLS, etc., all with heavy artillery and a new battlefield, the Retem Area.

All classes will now have a level cap of 35 and Each class has a new class skill. There will also be three elemental techniques added to the existing ones. Expect wind, light, and darkness to join the ice of fire and lightning already present in the game.

Will have a new title system where you can earn and unlock new trophies based on in-game achievements. You can manifest these when you get new trophies to achieve goals like killing a certain number of enemies. There is also a World Test now, which will take place on all ships. These tests will be different from normal tests because they will cover many areas and over a long period of time. Complete everything within the time limit for some rewards.

To mark the upcoming release of the update, there’s a Get Ready to Fix it! special event run where you can collect rewards and set yourself up for new content. this runs until December 14. There’s also a Christmas update with festive decorations throughout Central City and new loot and cosmetics to celebrate.
