Persona 3 PC release date: Will the remake launch on Steam?

Fans hope to see a Persona 3 PC release date after the success of Persona 4: Gold. Some of the more optimistic fans are hoping for a full remaster of the game in Sauna, with all the content from its different versions bundled together in one cohesive package. So will we see Persona 3 release on Steam? Please read below to see what we know so far.
What is the release date for Persona 3 on PC?
There is currently no release date for Persona 3 on PC. Despite the success of Persona 4: Golden port on Steam, Atlus has yet to announce plans to bring any other major Persona titles to the platform. However, fans don’t necessarily have to give up hope that Persona 3 will come to Steam.
Unlike Persona 4, which only had one re-release in Golden, Persona 3 received two new releases, added new content, and made some changes to the base game. Unfortunately, is not clearly superior to the other. Persona 3 FES adds content to the original game and the ending revolves around the character Aigis. Persona 3 Portable lacks this new content but adds the ability to play as a heroine and major improvements to the combat system.
Unfortunately, porting straight to PC won’t do much of Persona 3’s justice. FES will be the obvious choice because of its better graphics, but fans will be disappointed at the lack of content from P3Portable. So the best case here would be a remake that combines elements of both versions into one final version of Persona 3. That would take a lot more work than a simple portal, so it’s probably in development, and Atlus just’ t announced it yet.
With all the new fans the series has won over the past few years, it would be surprising if Atlus didn’t take advantage of the Persona 3 remake. It might just be a matter of time before it’s announced.
