Pedestrian seriously injured after hit-and-run in Toronto – Toronto

Toronto police are searching for the driver, who fled the scene of the accident in the city early Wednesday.

At approximately 4:36 a.m., emergency teams were called to the West St. Clair Avenue and Lansdowne Avenue area

The man was found unconscious with serious injuries, police said.

Paramedics told Global News they had taken a man to a trauma center in a life-threatening condition.

The driver fled the scene of the accident, police said.

Roads were closed for the investigation.
