Pedestrian Dies In San Jose Hit-And-Run Collision – CBS San Francisco

SAN JOSE (CBS SF / BCN) – A pedestrian was killed in a fatal collision on San Jose Street early Saturday morning.

San Jose police said the collision occurred at 2:32 a.m. in the area of ​​33 North Street and McKee Road. Arriving workers saw the victim with fatal injuries. The victim died at the scene.

The search for the driver continued. No additional information about the driver or vehicle has been published.

Around 5:30 p.m., police reported that McKee Road was closed in both directions from North King Road to 33 North Street.

The incident was also the 11th pedestrian death of the year on the streets of San Jose.
