Peacock Announces Straight-to-Series Order for ‘Irreverent’

Peacock has given a straight-to-series, 10-episode order for drama “Irreverent”, which follows a prison from Chicago who bungles a heist and is pressured to cover out in a small Australian reef city in Far North Queensland posing as the brand new church Reverend. Created by Paddy Macrae (“Needed”), the collection will probably be set and filmed in Australia.

“Irreverent” comes from Matchbox Footage, which is a part of NBCUniversal Worldwide Studios, a division of Common Studio Group, and will probably be a co-production between Peacock and Netflix Australia. Paddy Macrae (“Needed”), Andrew Knight (“Rake”), Andrew Anastasios (“Wentworth”) and Angela McDonald (“Operation Buffalo”) will function writers on the collection. | Peacock Declares Straight-to-Sequence Order for ‘Irreverent’
