Overwatch’s Winter Wonderland 2021 Event Delayed

OverwatchThe Winter Wonderland event has always provided an end-of-year festival atmosphere for fans, but the eagerly anticipated holiday celebration will be a bit late this year.
According to a post above Overwatch forum, community manager AndyB has informed fans that the 2022 Winter Wonderland event will be postponed.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we need to delay the event start by just a few days,” AndyB said in a response to a player inquire about Winter Wonderland.
Events usually start in the second week of December; Winter Wonderland begins December 15, 2020 and begins December 10, 2019. The original poster of the thread also correctly noted that there is no usual indication of something imminent. Overwatch events, such as pre-patch downloads or social media sneak peeks.
While AndyB said the event will only be postponed to “a few days”, no specific date has been revealed.
