Overwatch Players Discover Surprise New Moira Content
Overwatch fans are hard at work discovering new Moira content that includes unique character interactions in Blizzard’s hit first-person shooter.
Observant Overwatch Players have noted that their favorite Talon scientist Moira has some new dialogue and interactions with specific characters. The final patch for Overwatch on November 9, and there is no mention of this new content.
A video of the dialogue has been posted Overwatch subreddit by user Spktra with credit to @CalebGamerOW. It’s a short video with three new interactions from former Blackwatch agent with some of her contemporaries.
Interaction #1
Baptiste: “Heal and Hurt… I guess we’re not that different.”
Moira: “I assure you, we are nothing alike.”
Interaction #2
Junkrat: “Are you looking for a lab assistant? I’m good at chemistry.”
Moira: “Sure. We’ll start by testing your pain tolerance.”
Junkrat: “Oh, what does pain have to do with science?”
Moira: “Everything, my weird little friend.”
Interaction #3
Hanzo: “I’ve heard of your experiments. No honor for what you do.”
Moira: “Shimada…where did I know that name? Oh, that’s right…criminal family.”
Interactions like these are what breathe life into Overwatch The universe. Aside from rare comics and special events, there isn’t much of a storyline in a primarily PvP shooter. So when small pieces like this appear, fans will quickly grasp and try to fit new pieces into the larger puzzle. Overwatch 2, with more PvE elements, is rumored to put more emphasis on the story and will continue the ongoing story, but its release is a mystery at this point. Until then, fans will need to trust the crumbs that matter less than new lines.
Moira has been added Overwatch on November 16, 2017, as a support hero. While she has a previous relationship with the hero organization Overwatch, her character is anything but a hero with ties to the dark organization Blackwatch and criminal enterprise called Talon. . Without going into too many spoilers, Moira has been connected to some really bad actions involving other characters from the popular shooter. What is clear is that in these interactions, Moira has a reputation and is well known in Overwatch The universe. How this affects the universe as a whole is debatable. How effective could a secret organization be if people like Hanzo knew what its top members were doing? Or is it because he is so well informed that he should be aware of matters like this?
No matter what the implications are, it’s still a fun new thing for fans to chew on and mull over. Until a new Overwatch humor or a spin-off movie is released, fans will have to make the most of this latest interactive series.
