Overlord Season 4 release date officially confirmed

After a long wait, we finally have an official release date for hegemony Season 4. Well, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming season.

Based on the light novel series by Kugane Maruyama, hegemony is a popular anime series by Madhouse. The first season of the anime debuted in 2015, followed by two more seasons in 2018. The anime has 13 episodes in each season and fans love every bit of the anime. So it’s no wonder Madhouse decided to renew the TV show for one more season and one movie.

Madhouse confirmed a fourth season in May 2021, and a few months later the animation studio released new information about the new season’s start date.

Madhouse recently confirmed Part 4 of hegemony will start in July 2022. So the countdown to the sequel has begun and we are only a few months away from new episodes.

Interestingly, the Japanese animation studio has given a new release date information with a second PV trailer for hegemony Season 4. Compared to the first trailer, this part gives us a better look at the new season.

We get to see all of the main characters in the trailer, along with some strong fighting sequences. In short, the trailer is more than enough to keep us in suspense for the return of the anime. Here you are; take a look at the new PV for yourself:

Besides Part 4, hegemony also has a new animated film, which will include the Holy Kingdom Arc. However, there is no release date or Pv trailer for the upcoming film yet. Our best guess is that the studio will reveal something about the film as soon as the fourth season ends.
