Oteyza Men’s Fall 2022 Collection Leans Into Streetwear – WWD

In recent seasons, Paul García de Oteyza and Caterina Pañeda have had a new focus on Oteyza, the Spanish sartorial menswear brand.
“We are working hard to connect with streetwear,” explains Pañeda, adding that in the meantime, Oteyza continues to draw inspiration from ages, such as the Atlantic, aesthetics and art. of fishermen, such as the marine works of Nicolas de Staël.
Oteyza continues: “It is a step forward for our home, with a very solid base in suits, craftsmanship, quality and luxury.
The fall collection includes sophisticated yet functional garments, sometimes in saturated colors – orange and teal – reminiscent of de Staël.
A chic navy blue Marino wool coat decorated in white comes with a hood. An unstructured white lapel is worn as a scarf. The burnt orange jacket is adorned with decorative details and a rectangular white belt, paired with a matching fisherman-style hat.
Oteyza’s fashion film features fall sports models looking at all-white backgrounds, helping the collection stand out and give it a dreamy edge.
