Due to the messiness of the GTA Trilogy, Rockstar Games promised the return of the original games, but there was a caveat about that guarantee.
When people think back to the games that have been released in the past year, one thing that will stick in the minds of many fans will be the overall disaster that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Final Edition launch. In spite of GTA trilogy being patched to fix a lot of bugs, it still leaves a dent in the reputations of both Rockstar Games and developer Grove Street Games. Rockstar has promised that players will be able to return to the original PS2-era classics, but even that has left a sour taste in the mouths of some gamers.
In a recent post on Twitter, the producer Rockstar Games said that Grand Theft Auto fans will once again be able to replay GTA 3, Town, and San Andreas in their initial iterations. However, the games will only be available through the Rockstar Game Launcher and only to those who already own a copy of the remake or are planning to get it before July 1, 2022. But it does. made worse, as it is currently only being made available to PC users.
As a result, people commented under the tweet and were unhappy about the console users not being able to download classic Grand Theft Auto trilogy title. One user seemed unimpressed that players who purchased the Definitive Edition for PlayStation, Xbox or Switch, at full price, would not be treated to the older games. Others have asked if consoles will also be treated like PC users, but at the time of writing, it doesn’t look like the classic won’t be coming to any other systems than PCs.
It would make sense for Rockstar to make them available again for consoles, or even just for PC users who want to download games through Steam or another platform. NS Grand Theft Auto the game has been removed from sale right before the trilogy of remakes arrived, which caused some discomfort from the community, especially after the intense reception the Definitive Edition received upon release. This means that players can just play the remaster with no option to go back to the classics, at that point, unless they already have them.
GTA trilogy will almost certainly go down when one of the most disappointing games of 2021. Rockstar’s promise of a return to classic PS2 versions may have saved the company’s dwindling reputation. But the fact that it is only available to specific players and only through the company’s own launcher, and only for a certain period of time, only tarnishes its name further.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Final Edition available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
Tokyo Godfathers is the perfect unique holiday cartoon, but the Satoshi Kon classic has been stuck in obscurity for nearly 20 years.
