Opinion | Make the Intercounty Connector an outer belt


We want a Potomac River crossing farther out — a kind of “outer belt.” The Intercounty Connector in Maryland feebly terminates because the “Sam Eig Freeway” for a brief distance west of Interstate 270.  The Intercounty Connector needs to be prolonged west, crossing the Potomac and becoming a member of Virginia Route 28. That may be the way in which to keep away from Armageddon in a while. | Opinion | Make the Intercounty Connector an outer belt
