Opinion | D.C. must do something about the crime
It seems that D.C.’s elected officers solely react to crime when a baby is killed. For years, D.C. Mayor Muriel E. Bowser (D) has been lacking in motion relating to the rampant crime all through the town. There have been a number of occasions the mayor has publicly commented a few particular homicide sufferer — often when it has been the mindless killing of a kid. I’m enthusiastic about lessening crime as a result of I’ve been personally touched. On Nov. 4, my 24-year-old son, Terrence Jones, was killed as he walked dwelling from a neighborhood retailer.
