Old School RuneScape Gets A Lot Of Hotfix For Nex Update So You Can Kill Her Now

The Old School RuneScape Update for Nex: The Fifth General was released yesterday and immediately, the community started giving feedback and reporting on some of the major dungeon bugs. Today, the team released several hotfixes, described an additional fix, and provided feedback.

The initial release of Nex hit a bump when the team started receiving reports that Nex was immune to damage during some teamfights. When your boss can’t be attacked or taken down, that obviously won’t work for a dungeon. They fixed it quickly and now you can take her down with no problem.

Two different issues with drops have also been fixed. One is a general missing drop and the other occurs in a very large group. Both of these have been resolved. In the case of a large pool issue, the maximum capacity was reduced from 80 to 60 as it was a memory issue on the old build. If the memory capacity is reached, the game will start deleting items if there are too many of them on the same tile.

The game will clear the lower value items first, use Grand Exchange as indicator, but some changes such as decrease in supply quantity and change in capacity would be helpful. Those who take her with them in large groups will still get the same shot in units but the overall numbers will be smaller. Among the other changes are tweaks to make Nex more challenging in those very large groups. The 60 person limit helps, but her attacks are also slightly tweaked.

One fix that still hasn’t worked is that Nex pets are not being added to the all pets collection, but this will be fixed in next week’s update.

In addition to a bunch of fixes, also some player feedback and claim to be able to use Nex in private instances. This is what they are listening to and will consider moving to change the response.
