Old Republic Legacy of the Sith expansion delayed

A notification above Star Wars: The Old Republic Project Manager Keith Kanneg’s website has some bad news for players today. The next expansion to the game, Legacy of the Sith, was delayed to next year. Originally set to release on December 14, it will now arrive on February 15, 2022. So you’ll need to wait a few more months to explore the depths of Manaan, uncover the story. new and unleash new abilities and Combat Styles.

Gamers have become adept at waiting. So, two months late for your period isn’t too bad. The fact that the announcement was made a few days before the expected expansion’s release is what really hurts. The new release date also drops it right in the launch window for Guild Wars 2: End of Dragonsand just before the release of a big MMO release, Lost beer keg. This is going to be a busy time for MMO fans.

For the players

In the post announcing the delay, Kanneg said that more time is needed to Legacy of the Sith to a point that meets the expectations of Star Wars: The Old Republic player. During the two months of additional development, BioWare will focus on additional testing for many of the areas that have changed. Kanneg also thanked players for all the invaluable feedback the team received through the public test server.

Star Wars: The Old Republic Subscribers won’t need to wait until the delayed date to experience some Legacy of the Sith. Most of the expansion will return to the public test server this week. The announcement states that there will be no story content to avoid spoilers. No details on how it works. But at least you’ll be able to make sense of what’s to come.
