Ohio Jim Jordan Capitol riots panel
WASHINGTON (AP) — Home Republican chief Kevin McCarthy has picked 5 Republicans to sit down on the brand new choose committee to analyze the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol.
McCarthy chosen Indiana congressman Jim Banks to be the highest Republican on the panel.
McCarthy additionally tapped for the panel Ohio’s Jim Jordan, Illinois’ Rodney Davis, North Dakota’s Kelly Armstrong, and Texas’ Troy Nehls.

McCarthy’s picks have been confirmed by a Republican aware of the choice and an aide to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who spoke on situation of anonymity forward of an official announcement.
