The show honors the one centesimal anniversary of Coleman attaining her worldwide pilot’s license.
On June 15, 1921, Coleman grew to become the primary African American girl and first Native American to earn a pilot’s license and a world pilot’s license.
Decided to shine her abilities, Coleman spent the following two months taking classes from a French ace pilot close to Paris and, in September 1921, she sailed for America. She grew to become a media sensation when she returned to the U.S.
