OG vs Nigma Galaxy has always been a classic, as both sides showcased fierce, high-octane action, but that didn’t happen when they met in the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) 2021-22 Tour 1: Division 1. With a 2-0 win, OG proved to be a superior team in all aspects of the match. On the other hand, it looks like Nigma Galaxy’s mid laner “Miracle-“Al-Barkawi’s return doesn’t do much to improve their record. Having now lost three consecutive games, the team continues to play underwhelming in the DPC.
OG vs Nigma Galaxy: Match Summary and Highlights
In game 1, OG consistently outperformed the opponent. All of OG’s cores were ahead of their opponents, making moves much better, and as a group, the young squad teamed up flawlessly. Despite trying to put some pressure on, the Nigma Galaxy frequently counterattacked, leading to its own death. Nigma Galaxy lost the match in the 41st minute, with only 13 lives compared to 44 of the opponent.
In game 2, OG overcame Nigma Galaxy, picking several counters. OG has a Razor for iLTW’s Luna, a Kunkka for GH’s Io, and a Nyx Assassin for Miracle-‘s Storm Spirit. Even in the actual game, OG performed brilliantly, using the magic of his heroes to great effect. Once again, Nigma Galaxy tried its best to stand and fight, but it lost its hero each time and the match ended up being only 31 minutes.
Here are some highlights of the series.
OG’s playstyle is simply stronger both individually and collectively in this series. What’s interesting is that Miracle, who usually plays well in midgames, was given a tough fight by Bozhidar.”bzm“OG’s 16-year-old mid laner, Bogdanov, who performed brilliantly as he took the lead in both games. OG currently has two wins in three series.
The third loss in a row was a blow to Nigma Galaxy. Perhaps even more disappointing is that the team hasn’t been able to come close in many of these games and some draft picks and map picks have been questionable. Yesterday’s series of wins over Alliance in the OGA Dota PIT S5: Europe/CIS was a positive moment, but that victory was not without its signs. The team will need to make some major changes if they hope to not only land a main spot but also stay in Division 1.
OG’s next series in the DPC WEU 2021-22 Tour 1: Division 1 will face COOLGUYS on December 21, 2021 while Nigma Galaxy plays against Team Secret on December 18, 2021.
