Mohamed Hamouda, a spokesman for the transitional authorities, stated the son walked free from Tripoli’s al-Hadaba jail, the place many Gadhafi regime officers are being held pending trial, principally in connection to the crackdown on the 2011 rebellion that toppled the longtime ruler and led to his killing.
