Oblivion Fan Rebuilds Kvatch in Minecraft
A Minecraft player decides to build a city of Kvatch from Oblivion, complete with Akatosh Chapel, Kvatch Arena, and Kvatch Castle.
Released back in 2006, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion been about a while. However, that hasn’t stopped players from continuing to remake iconic locations from the title. Recently, a Oblivion fans decided to recreate one of these classics in another popular game.
In a post on Reddit, a user known as Miksu23 shared a collection of screenshots from a Construction project completed in Minecraft. According to the creator, they decided to build the city of Kvatch from Oblivion, the first city visited in the game. As the pictures suggest, it is large, containing many different buildings. A highlight of the design is a large wall that protects the city from external threats.
Aside from the perimeter fence, the buildings found within the city limits are equally impressive. The Akatosh Chapel is located near the center of the building and features stone walls with green shingles. The design also includes a spire that rises above the rest of the buildings in the city. In addition, the Colosseum and the iconic castle are located in separate corners of the building, even surrounded by moats. Besides showing images of the large-scale construction, Miksu23 provided some details behind how they created the city. According to Reddit user, this build is based on Kvatch Rebuilt mod, shows the town before it was destroyed. In addition, the author revealed that they spent a lot of time on the project. They started the project at the end of November and have accumulated around 40-50 hours during the construction period. Furthermore, this is just one of many Oblivion settlements created by miksu23. In addition to Kvatch city, they also built Chorrol and planned to build the next Leyawiin.

In particular, some liked the beautiful reproduction of the Akatosh Chapel. Also, other people are happy to see Oblivion went on to receive some recognition over a decade after its release.
