On Saturday, CBS2’s Cory James spoke with a Brooklyn woman whose 88-year-old aunt, Lola, was killed when the quake hit.
“She was cooking at the back of the home on the time, so the home fell on her. She didn’t make it,” Helene Pierre stated.
New York Metropolis Councilwoman Farah Louis stated she was working with folks in Haiti to assist these right here monitor down lacking family members.
“We’re doing our due diligence to contact folks from different cities and different communities to exit to the place the earthquake occurred to see if they’ll discover of us for us,” she stated.
