NYPD Police, Suspect killed in Harlem shooting, after mother-son fight

Two police officers were shot dead in Harlem on Friday night, the latest in a series of attacks on officers in New York City.

A suspect was also shot dead in the melee, though it’s unclear if that was by police.

Police responded to a home disturbance call — an argument between a mother and her son, according to New York Post—When gunfire broke out.

Garrett Fowler, a 62-year-old neighbor, told New York Exciting news now, “They went into the building and it jumped out. Two boys were carried out of the building on a stretcher. They never moved. “

One shot hit one of the policemen in the face, Post reported. According to ABC 7, four police officers have been shot within the past 72 hours at the Big Apple. In total, six officers are believed to have been shot in 2022.

The officers were taken to Harlem hospital for treatment. Mayor’s press secretary Eric Adams tweeted that the mayor was on his way there.
