No Way Home trailer shows MCU New York’s lunatic Steve Rogers Memorial

Captain America Avengers endgame

After the events of Avengers: Endgame, Steve Rogers and Tony Stark are loved by the entire MCU. While the exact details are unknown to the public, it appears that both men sacrificed themselves to defeat Thanos and undo the Snap. Post-Endgame movies have paid tribute to this couple, even though the new movie Spider-Man: There’s no way home The trailer indicates that New York City may have gone too far for their own.

The grand finale of There is no way home seems to be set on Liberty Island and around the Statue of Liberty – although she’s undergoing an eyebrow-raising makeover. While she once held a torch to welcome immigrants to Ellis Island and symbolized the progressive and enlightened ideals of the United States, she now holds in her hand Captain America’s distinctive shield.

We saw the iconic power of Cap’s shield in The Falcon and the Winter SoldierDespite that, though, this new look means the MCU’s Statue of Liberty is now sending a message that people should stay away and that America is protecting its borders.

I doubt this is something Steve Rogers would agree with, so fingers crossed There is no way home address whether this is a good idea. After all, you can’t simply change iconic national monuments without causing controversy. But hey, maybe it’s a rare factual political commentary from Marvel Studios?

Fortunately, there is evidence this may be a temporary setting. Later in the trailer, we can see the torch is still present, albeit masked by a giant replica of Cap’s shield. Either way, one of the things I love most about the MCU is seeing how superheroes react and how the public perceives them, and what better way than this?
