No One Wants to Host Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Rally

Representatives of the Republic Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Green hoped that for the third time it might be a charm to find a place in California to host hotels. “America First” Rally tonight.

They were wrong: the alternative venue chosen by Anaheim’s M3 Live Event Center was canceled just after noon on Saturday, a few hours before the start of the event.

This came after two separate venues, the Pacific Hills Banquet & Event Center in Laguna Hills and the Riverside Convention Center, were canceled after protesters flooded the respective owners with complaints.

On the Riverside, City council members also voiced their concerns, told council member Ronald Fierre: “The hateful and racist rhetoric perpetrated at this event by these two notorious extremists has absolutely no place in our city.”

What’s more, the deadline for those looking for a free RSVPed event (VIP tickets, which include photo options with Gaetz and Taylor Green, is $ 250), the M3 Live Anaheim Event Center on Saturday morning got to work.

But it appeared that Mike Lister, a spokesman for the city of Anaheim, issued a statement on Saturday morning condemning the plans.

“We were informed about the relocation of the event plan to a private location in our city at the end of Friday. This decision is not supported or supported by the city of Anaheim, ”the statement said. “As a city, we respect freedom of speech, but we also have a duty to invite speech that does not reflect our city and its values. We will discuss this issue this morning. ”

In the The Yelp Anaheim Events Center page and the Facebook page quickly came under negative comments. “Higher position, if you like businesses that work with people under investigation for child abuse or promote the performance of government officials. I guess the toilets are overflowing the floor,” one wrote.

“When you’re hosting fascist guests, fascists, child sex traffickers, insurgents (to name a few), one star on Yelp is really a compliment,” another wrote.

When asked to comment, Elizabeth Camarillo, operations director of the Anaheim M3 Live Event Center, declined to comment.

But, a few moments later, the city of Anaheim wrote on Twitter that the America First rally had been canned. “The city of Anaheim is dealing with public safety issues [venue] The operator and those concerns will be shared by the operator, ”the statement said.

It was a quick action, but enough to save The Yelp Anaheim Events Center page, which was quickly filled with comments. “Great place, if you like businesses that work with people under investigation for child abuse or promote the performance of government officials. I guess toilets are overflowing the floor,” one wrote.

“When you’re hosting fascist guests, fascists, child sex traffickers, insurgents (just to name a few), a star on Yelp is really a compliment,” said another.

Gaetz, who is currently under federal investigation for sex trafficking and juvenile abuse, tweeted through the debate, said a statement from the city of Anaheim “the trial will feature top exhibits @RepMTG and I will give the document. He urged supporters to “join us at our alternative venue” – the Anaheim Event Center.

Green was a congressman from Georgia was loaded from the groups of her House Committees in February after videos emerged of his persecution of survivors at the school and propaganda of conspiracy theories about QAnon, 9/11 and the death of John F. Kennedy Jr..

CNN found out she has liked a Facebook post called for the execution of Nancy Pelosi back in 2019. She also suggested that Forest fires in California are caused by Jewish space lasers, pushed conspiracy theories about school shooting, and compared Senate mandates with the Holocaust, who later apologized for this.
