NNK:CW Energy Drinks (Use and Where to Buy) – FandomSpot

Energy Drinks are among the few consumables in the game that give you a drop rate boost when consumed.

These drinks have three main uses:

  • farm gold
  • Agriculture EXP
  • agricultural prices

Where you can get energy drinks, here is a list of all the sources where you can find and collect them:

  • daily newspapers (Best Source)
  • base shop
  • Check-in Pass Bonuses
  • events

What are energy drinks for?

Energy Drink (Item Description) / Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds
Energy drink (item description)

Once consumed, an Energy Drink gives you a buff that increases the amount of Gold, EXP, and prizes you receive by 700% for 30 minutes, allowing you to farm much more effectively.

Unlike Aromas of Focus, Energy Drinks can be used before or while farming monsters on both the World Map and Chaos Fields.

However, you should remember to only use energy drinks when you intend to farm a monster mob within three levels around you if you want maximum returns.

Farm gold with energy drinks

AI Mode (Gold, Coins, and Jumbled Statues) / Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds
AI mode (gold, coins and jumbled statues)

Gold is one of the most important resources that you can farm more of once you’ve consumed an Energy Drink.

However, before you sip some energy drinks to farm more gold, I would first recommend finding mobs in three tiers of you that drop the following items:

  • silver coins
  • gold coins
  • platinum coins
  • Higgledy Statues

You can sell these items for more gold which just makes sanding that much easier!

Jug Spider (drops) / Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds
Pitcher Spider (drop)

To learn which monsters on the world map drop these items, simply go to the “Monsters” page on your minimap and scroll through the monsters currently available in your zone.

Farming EXP with energy drinks

Class Up (Level 69) / Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds
Level up (level 69)

Your EXP gain will also increase significantly if you take Energy Drinks before or during a farming session.

Where you farm EXP from doesn’t matter as long as you follow the “within three levels” rule mentioned earlier. However, in general, the higher the level of mob you farm, the higher EXP you will get.

But before you start killing high tier mobs for more EXP, you should also consider how much time they take to clear, as this will drastically affect the amount of EXP you get per farming session.

Farm prices with energy drinks

Item Drops (Minecrawler) / Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds
Item Drops (Mine Crawler)

You also get an increased drop rate for prizes when consuming an Energy Drink.

This includes the following materials and items:

  • Armor and Weapon Crystals
  • Armor and Weapon Crafting Tickets
  • Armor, weapons and accessories
  • meal
  • paints
  • skill books
  • skill pages
  • chests
  • gems
  • Torn Swift solutions

All in all, if you consume Energy Drinks before farming, you’ll get more regular item drops and even rarer item drops.

This is exactly why you should use energy drinks wisely and farm them whenever possible.

Where can you get energy drinks?

Energy Drink (Prompt to use item) / Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds
Energy Drink (Prompt to use item)

Energy drinks are fairly rare, but farming the following sources will help you get more of them over time.

Source #1: Daily newspapers (recommended)

Daily Quests (3rd Reward) / Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds
Daily Quests (3rd Reward)

Completing your Dailies allows you to farm an Energy Drink per day, alongside 50 Territes, as the third reward on the list.

This requires 60 daily points to achieve, which will not be difficult at all even if you are a very casual player.

Make sure you log in every day and get your energy drinks from your dailies as this is by far the most consistent way to grow energy drinks.

Source #2: Basic Shop (Potions & Consumables)

Basic Shop (Buy Energy Drink x1) / Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds
Basic Shop (Buy Energy Drink x1)

The second source we have for Energy Drinks is the Potions & Consumables tab in the Basic Shop.

Energy drinks are sold here 50 diamonds. The only problem is that the cost increases with every purchase, which is really not good news if you’re a F2P gamer.

For this reason, I recommend only buying one energy drink per day. It’s just not worth spending more than 50 diamonds on it.

Source #3: Check-in Pass Bonuses

Check-In Pass / Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds
Check-in pass

A check-in pass will give you a total of three energy drinks within two weeks of logging in – along with the other useful rewards you get from them.

Therefore you should never Do not purchase the check-in pass.

How much is a check in pass you ask? Well, you can actually buy them for that very low price of only 10 golds. Now that’s a bargain!

Source #4: Events

Episode Guide Event (Tier 1 Reward List) / Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds
Episode Guide Event (Tier 1 Reward List)

Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds frequently hosts events that shower us with all sorts of free stuff – including valuable consumables that grant buffs, like Energy Drinks.

The rewards you can earn from events can vary, but the good news is that Energy Drinks are actually a fairly common event reward.

All you have to do is meet the rewards requirements as stated on the events page and the rewards are yours.

The only thing you need to keep in mind is this Each event is limited in time. Make sure you farm as many rewards as possible before each event’s deadline.
