North American esports athlete, Nicholas “nitr0” Cannella, break up with the group of 100 Thieves Valorant earlier than 8NS December 2021, mid heavy speculation and many reports towards his possible CS:GO return.
Since early November, nitr0 has been linked with a return to competitive CS:GO, most likely to join Team Liquid will undergo a roster overhaul ahead of the 2022 season.
The 26-year-old announced his retirement from CS:GO in August 2020 to join 100 Thieves and compete in Valorant. Despite hosting the First Strike North America victory in 2020, they’ve had a disappointing run this year, which has forced them to make a few roster changes.
Nitr0’s CS:GO return rumors increase after leaving 100 Thieves Valorant roster
A name synonymous with Team Liquid, nitr0, switched to Valorant last August and is said to be considering a return to CS:GO again after more than 15 months. The move now seems closer to reality and more probable than ever now that the 100 Thieves Valorant team has parted ways with him.
For the entire CS:GO community it was a huge shock to see their own ‘Captain America’ switch to Valorant, they’ve never hated the man for the act. Now, with the possibility of a return closer than ever, the community is rallying to support this decision in the hope that it comes true.
Nitr0 was recently spotted playing and streaming CS:GO on FACEIT with Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski, Däuren “AdreN” Qystaubaev, and many other players.
100 Thieves thanks nitr0 for lifting them to championship heights and creating a winning culture within the team. As for the player himself, he hasn’t commented on his future so far, but simply said “More on my future soon!”
