Nintendo Switch Sports Miis: Is Mii Supported?

A lot of fans hope to see Nintendo Switch Sports Miis will be happy to hear that Nintendo’s customizable classic avatars will be in the upcoming latest version of Nintendo. Wii Sports , just like they did in the original games. While Nintendo’s latest sports title was revealed at Nintendo Direct go live and without showing off whether the feature is supported, one fan discovered that there is indeed Nintendo Switch Sports Mii support.

Nintendo Switch Sports Mii support confirmed

It seems to have been confirmed that Nintendo Switch Sports will definitely support Nintendo’s customizable Miis when it launches. While neither the game’s trailer nor the announcement website shows any Miis or whether the Miis is playable in various sports, a brief snippet of the game was shown during last night’s Nintendo Direct event – separate from the trailer – seems to confirm Mii’s endorsement.

As pointed out on Twitter by @tomathius, game segment begins by briefly showing the Mii characters based on Nintendo’s Shinya Takahashi and Yoshiaki Koizumi. Although they have a few more limbs compared to the original Wii Sports versions, since they appear to have the same body type as the default characters, the distinct Mii faces are still clearly visible at the top – like as the Mii Fighters in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. It’s very unlikely that this was done just for the Nintendo Direct show, so fans could take this as confirmation that players can indeed play with Miis in Nintendo Switch Sports.
