Angel’s folly

In order to obtain the Angel’s Folly bracers, the player must trust Emil, the eccentric shopkeeper who roams the areas outside of the resistance camp. Emil will spawn in three different locations where he will attempt to sell his wares, but in each area he will sell a different selection of items. If Emil does not initially appear outside of the resistance camp, the player should use the nearby vending machine to exit the camp before promptly returning. If he doesn’t spawn, repeat the process until he does.

The Folly of the Angel can only be purchased from Emil outside of the camp, Therefore, the player must ensure that he has accumulated the appropriate funds to purchase. It also only appears if the player received the “Wayyy Bored” message from the shopkeeper himself. Priced at 25,000 G, these bracers are more than worth their retail value for their whopping size 570-627 points of attack damage. The Angel’s Mercy ability it provides will do the same partially heal the wearer when defeating an enemy with it, but only after his core strength is unlocked.

The Demon’s Scream

In order to get the Spear of the Usurper, the player must complete the legacy of the past side quest, with 2B tasked with collecting ancient artifacts alluding to the desert city of Facade. After finding all of these items, the researcher at the resistance camp will reward the player with the Usurper’s Spear, a frighteningly powerful weapon that has an intriguing trick up its sleeve.


When fully upgraded, the spear will have 836-1026 attack points damage, next to a unique ability. The turncoat ability has a Chance to change an enemy’s allegiance when attacked with this weapon. Similar to Cloud’s Buster Sword in shape and size, this overly large blade is a great weapon to obtain throughout 9S’s storyline.

Completely improve this gun gifts 9S with the Stun and Energy Charge Abilities, the latter being far more advantageous.
