Nicki Minaj – Jennifer Hough will file a harassment lawsuit in California

Look same Nicki Minaj not completely out of the woods yet. Just a week after the rapper was fired from a harassment lawsuit filed by a person accusing her husband of rape, Jennifer Hough, The lawyer said that Minaj was not completely excluded from the case. On Thursday (January 20), Hough’s attorneys announced the rapper was only excluded from the lawsuit because of legal issues that required Hough to move her claims against Minaj to another coast. During Thursday’s hearing in Manhattan federal court, attorneys for Jennifer Hough Seven N. Gordon disclosure,

“We intend to redo it in a court of appropriate jurisdiction.”

Gordon later identified California as the appropriate jurisdiction because it is where Nicki Minaj, (real name Onika Tanya Maraj) currently resides. In a statement released after the hearing, Nicki .’s key advice Judd Burstein have this to say,

“As usual, they decided to adopt a tactic without bothering to study the law. If they do, they will find that filing their frivolous actions in another jurisdiction will only result in another court sanctioning them. “

As previously reported, Jennifer Hough to sue Nicki Minaj and husband Kenneth Petty last year for harassment. The case was brought by Jennifer, who is alleged to have been sexually assaulted by Petty in 1995. She filed the lawsuit after the pair allegedly began pressuring her to remain silent and deny her allegations.

Jennifer Hough’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburne confirm that the case will be re-filed in California, but with “Various causes of action” and potentially a new, unnamed defendant. He also hit back at the accusations and remarks by Nicki’s attorney Judd Burstein.

“If I were Ms. Maraj, I would pay close attention to the bill she received from her lawyer.. From the beginning of the case, he [Burstein] participated in a settlement exercise that proposed submitting a multitude of frivolous sanctions, none of which were put in place and none of which worked. I look forward to receiving this latest edition of the attorney’s settlement exercise, carefully framed as a punitive motion. “

In August 2021, Jennifer sued Nicki Minaj, claims the rapper and her legal team offered to pay Jennifer to change her story about what happened to Kenneth. Jennifer Hough later spoke out publicly in an exclusive interview on Truth in September. She detailed the incident and talked about the allegations against Petty, and accused the couple of harassing her.

While the charges against Nicki Minaj was dropped last week and allegedly will be re-filed in the state of California, lawsuits against Kenneth Petty is still going on.
