NFL Week 12: Resilient Dolphins score ‘A+’ on win-lose, Seahawks get ‘C’ for Monday’s big loss

During the first eight weeks of the 2021 season, Miami Dolphins considered one of the biggest disappointments in NFL, but after an undefeated November, the resurgent Dolphins are unexpectedly back in playoff competition.
The Dolphins put a giant exclamation point on their undefeated month with a 33-10 lead over Carolina Panthers on Sunday and this win may be their most impressive yet. The Dolphins played near-perfect football in all three phases of the game: They got good attacks from attacks, big plays from exceptional teams, and they got their best performances. excel from the defense.
This is basically the Dolphins team everyone thought we were going to be in Week 1, and after going through an identity crisis for the first eight weeks of the season, the Dolphins seem to have finally figured out who they are. .
Tagovailoa seems to be getting more comfortable every week and the main reason for that is his chemistry with Jaylen Waddle. Tua threw 230 yards in the game with 137 of those going to be Waddles, including the play you see below, resulting in a 57-yard gain.
That pass establishes a 3-yard TD run by Myles Gaskin in the second quarter and even that short game shows how much Miami has improved offensively.
The Dolphins proved they would empty the playbook every week, and the Panthers found it difficult when Gaskin scored in a game against the wildcats.
The Dolphins seem to have an energy right now that they’ve been lacking in the first two months of the season, and that energy showed up early in the game. After the Panthers were forced to defeat in possession of their prologue, Duke Riley block kick for Dolphins and Justin Coleman return it for the first score of the game.
The rest of the team seems to have eaten up all the energy that the touchdown special teams have created.
On defense, the Dolphins completely choked off the Panthers’ attack. Not only did they tally five sacks, but they also picked up three passes. If you want to know what Orange Newton’s day like, just watch the play below.
It’s one of three sacks from Jaelan Phillips.
The Dolphins’ crowded defense didn’t let the Panthers get anywhere near the late zone after the first inning.
The Dolphins still have a long way to go if they want to make it to the knockout stages, but it doesn’t feel as impossible as it did four weeks ago. While their 5-7 record barely features them in the playoff chat, there’s no reason to think they won’t be able to improve on that. In their next three games, the Dolphins will face Giant, Jet plane and Saints, all can be won. If they can walk away with three wins, that will push them to 8-7 and at that point anything can happen.
