NFL Week 12 Odds, Picks: Top Lines Provide Value for Buccaneers-Colts and Vikings-49ers

The moment you decide to place your bets matters a lot when it comes to NFL betting. You won’t have to worry about anything Vegas has numbers on Sunday morning if you sprinkle some dollars on the hot lines a week ahead of time. That’s exactly what we do in this weekly column.
Every Friday we review NFL line a week in advance to determine if we should put our money down now to get the best bang for our buck. Most of these lines will likely change before we get to Week 12, so we’d like to go ahead and place our bets if we see a good opportunity to upset or jump into a favorite before more profitable movement.
Before we start some early bets to look at, here are the standard lines for Week 12. All NFL odds are provided by Caesars Sportsbook.
Week 12 headlines
Bear (-3.5) at Lion
Raiders in Cowboys (-7)
Receipt (-4,5) at Saints
Eagle (-2.5) at Giant
Titan in Patriots (-3) (Before ‘TNF’)
Panthers (-2.5) at Dolphin
Jet plane in Texans (-2.5)
Steelsmith in Bengali (-4)
Eagle in Jaguar (PICK) (Before ‘TNF’)
Sugarcane seller (-3) at Colts
Charger (-1.5) at Broncos
Rams in Packers (-1.5)
Vikings in 49ers (-2.5)
Brown in Ravens (-4)
Seahawks (-3.5) in Washington
Buccaneers (-3) in Colts
The Buccaneers are about to lose humbly to the Washington Soccer Team, but I believe it’s something out of the ordinary. Both sides of the ball are out of sync and brave cat doesn’t look like Tom Brady. This team is still a legitimate contender, and will get better as we move on. This week, they will host a massive team in the crucial time they should beat. Whether they cover double-digit spreads is a legitimate question, but when it comes to this Week 12 game against the Colts, I’m more focused on Indy.
The Colts face the Bills this week in their first game in nearly a month. While the general consensus is that they are a solid team, the Colts are losing 0-4 against teams with a winning record and 5-1 against teams with a losing record. If they can’t get over the seven-point gap on Sunday, this line against the Bucs will move past a goal on the field.
Charger (-1.5) at Broncos
Chargers are having a hard time now as they have dropped three of their four most recent chargers. However, they have a solid chance at “W” in Week 11, as they play the host role Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers are blown up. TJ Watt dealing with hip and knee problems, Minkah Fitzpatrick likely due to COVID-19 and then Roethlisberger remains in doubt due to being placed on the bench / COVID-19. If I had to guess, he would play, but he wouldn’t have much time to practice. Winning Chargers will likely make this line go up.
The Broncos will say goodbye this week. Normally, you would think that would help a team regroup, but the teams that are about to split a week are 5-11 ATS this season. Also, this Broncos team is not so good. The 30-13 home loss to the Eagles last week was worth watching. If you thought the Chargers were the dominant side of the AFC West, I’d take this line now.
Vikings (+2.5) at 49ers
This is a real financial hassle for me. It looks like the 49ers are back on track with a nasty win over the Rams by relying on the running game and physicality of the offensive and defensive fronts, but can they sustain such success going forward? ? This team just got blown away by Colt McCoy and The Arizona Cardinals back up a few weeks ago. They played Jaguar this week, and I think they can cover. As for the Vikings, they’ve played everyone this year and can only be annoyed Aaron Rodgers and the Packers this weekend.
