Odds at the beginning of the week 12

(All lines from Caesars Sportsbook, all Sunday games unless otherwise noted)

Bear (3-7) at Lion (0-9-1), Thursday

Opening line: Bear -3

Traditionally, the Lions will compete on Thanksgiving Day and will host their NFC North opponent at the Chicago Bears. Midfield play will become the focus in this game because Detroit is unlikely to have Jared Goff again this week as he continues to battle an oblique injury. If that’s the case, Tim Boyle will likely start as he did with Brown in Week 11. Meanwhile, the Bears . rookie feeling Justin Fields‘status is also being asked after he reported bruised ribs in the loss to Baltimore. If he can’t compete, veteran Andy Dalton will get a nod. While the Lions may not have won the season, they’ve been one of the better bettors, owning an ATS 6-4 record coming on Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, Chicago is 1-4 ATS in the last five games.

Opening line: Cowboys -7

Both the Cowboys and Raiders will head into Thanksgiving after losing in Week 11. The Raiders are besieged by Bengals at home 32-13, while Dallas only scored three goals in the loss Chief at Arrowhead. Cowboys can be appreciated in skill positions with Amari Cooper excluded due to COVID and co-recipient CeeDee Lamb currently in concussion protocol. That will leave Michael Gallup is the premier extension of the club. With all of that said, Dallas has been a steady stream at AT&T, owning a 6-1 ATS record in their last seven home games. Meanwhile, the Raiders are 2-5 ATS in their last seven road competitions. Based on Sunday’s action, the line rallied past the touchdown to Cowboys -7.5.

Bills (6-4) at Saints (5-5), Thursday

Opening line: Bills -4.5

The Bills and Saints will bow on three Thanksgiving titles as they wrap up in New Orleans. Each of these teams are going through heavy losses as they’ve already surrendered 40 plus points, so they’ll be looking to recover by the break. Historically, both clubs have reacted well to defeats. The Saints are 4-1 ATS after a straight loss, while the Bills are 3-0-1 ATS. Buffalo are in the upper hand in this game with a 4.5-point margin held throughout Sunday’s loss to Indianapolis. In the last 10 road games, the Bills are 7-3 ATS.

Sugarcane seller (6-3) at the Colts (6-5)

Opening line: Buccaneers -3

There may not be much movement on this road until Tampa Bay’s Monday game against the Giants is over, but they opened as a favorite against the Colts on the road. It will be interesting to see how one of the NFL’s top-rated defenses tries to slow the Colts running back. Jonathan Taylor after his franchise record-setting performance on Sunday where he totaled five touchdowns in the win over Buffalo. In the last four games as an underdog, Indy has performed well, possessing an ATS 4-0 record. Meanwhile, Tampa Bay hasn’t played well outside of Raymond James Stadium as they’ve been 0-5 ATS in their last five road games and 0-6 ATS in their last six as the favorites.

Jet plane (2-8) in Texans (2-8)

Opening line: Texans -3

This game will make more sense for 2022 NFL Drafts more order than it will come to the 2021 season. That said, it will be interesting to see what Houston can do for an encore after upsetting the Titans on their chosen path. Ryan Tannehill four times on the way to the second win of the year. As for the Jets, they will lose Dolphin. Regardless of loss, backup Joe Flacco played well, so the midfield situation and whether New York would choose to start rookies Zach Wilson (knees) in this one would be worth keeping an eye on. The Jets enter this game 1-5 ATS in their last six games, while Houston is 4-1 ATS in their last five home games.

Eagle (5-6) at Giants (3-6)

Opening line: Eagle -3.5

Any significant movement will be spared after the New York game against the Bucs, but the Eagles opened as a favorite 3.5 points ahead of their NFC East opponents. Philly is having a dominating victory over the Saints, where Jalen Hurts Rush for three touches down. Despite a sub-500-point performance this season, the Eagles still won 5-2 ATS in their last seven games. That said, their poor ATS record against the NFC East (2-5 in the last seven) will be put to the test here.

Panthers (5-6) at Dolphins (4-7)

Opening line: PICK

Welcome home, Orange Newton! Even in Sunday’s loss to Washington, Newton played well in his first game since returning to the Panthers, completing 77.7% of his passes and finding the final zone three times in total. They will now face the Dolphins who were able to claim their fourth win of the season after knocking out the Jets on the road. Carolina excelled on the road at the end of Week 12 with a 10-2 ATS record in the last 12 road competitions. That said, the Dolphins have played well at home as they boast an ATS 11-4 record in their last 15 home games.

Titans (8-3) at Patriots (7-4)

Opening line: Patriotic -5.5

This is arguably the biggest game in the Week 12 standings for what it could mean for the playoff picture in the AFC. Following New England’s win on Thursday and the Bills’ loss to the Colts on Sunday, the Patriots have now jumped to first place in the AFC East and are now the third seed in the game. Meanwhile, the Titans remained seated as the number 1 seed of the convention, despite a nasty loss to Houston. However, if New England can extend its winning streak to six games, it will have an even higher place in the knockout stages. The Patriots are 5-0 AT the last five weeks and are 4-0 in the last four as the preferred team. That said, Tennessee is 5-0 ATS in their last five games as an underdog, so something will need to come up with Sunday in Foxborough.

Steelsmith (5-3-1) in the Bengals (6-4)

Opening line: Bengals -4.5

Cincy opened this game as a 4.5-point favorite against the Steelers after a road win over the Raiders. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh fell Charger on Sunday night and is looking to stay in the knockout stages as it sits just outside the current picture as the 8th seed. Big Ben and Co. could stay in the race (or at least cover the disparity) as the Bengals are not a sure bet after consecutive wins, 1-5 ATS in their last six. They are also 1-4 ATS in the last five home games.

Opening line: PICK

It’s been a week to forget for both clubs as they both dropped at least 20 points in Week 11. That sets up a showdown for Week 12 in Jacksonville. Atlanta performed well on the road against teams with a losing record at home, going 5-1 ATS on Sunday. The Jags are also 2-6 ATS in their last eight home games.

Charger (6-4) at Broncos (5-5)

Opening line: Charger -1.5

LA is about to take a thrilling win over the Steelers, where Justin Herbert lift up Madden-like numbers to keep his team from reaching the knockout round at AFC. The Chargers will now head to Denver to take on the Broncos, who are also looking to get back into the playoff race and stay above .500 for the season. The Chargers are a 1.5-point favorite coming into this game and are making their mark for a 5-0 ATS win over AFC West. Meanwhile, Denver is looking to turn things around after beating ATS 2-5 in the last seven games.

Opening line: Packer -2

This spread has since shifted to Packers -1.5, most likely a preview of the NFC Championship Game. LA is about to say goodbye to Week 11 and look to recover from consecutive losses before entering the break. Meanwhile, the Packers are also trying to get back into the winning column after falling to the Vikings in Week 11. Not only have the Rams struggled in their previous two games, but they also entered Sunday’s game impossible. finished in their last four matches. . That will be a tough hurdle to overcome, especially when they roll into Lambeau Field, where the Packers are winning ATS 4-0 in their last four games. Green Bay is also a best NFL-9-2 ATS this season.

Vikings (5-5) at 49ers (5-5)

Opening line: 49ers -2.5

The Vikings have surreptitiously been one of the better betting teams in the NFL this season. They participated in 60% of their games in Week 12 and won ATS 4-0 in their last four road matches. They are also 6-2 ATS in their last eight games as a road dog. That could set them up in a great way for this game against the 49ers, who were better late in the hour, but 1-4 ATS in their last five home games. They also don’t play as well as a favorite team, owning 3-10 in the last 13 matches in that situation.

Browns (6-5) at Ravens (7-3)

Opening line: Crow -4.5

Lamar Jackson’s status will be worth watching this week after he was unable to play in Week 11 due to a non-COVID illness. If he’s a good fit, the number could rise above the current 4.5 figures. Even without him below center, Baltimore was able to take a last-second win over the Bears en route to push them up 7-3 for the season. As for the Browns, they narrowly escaped the game against the Lions, picking up just three points. Recent history doesn’t point to a promising outcome for Cleveland as it prepares for this split game. In their last 11 games with AFC North, the Browns are 2-9 ATS. It’s basically the exact opposite of Raven, who are winning 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games in the league.

Seahawks (3-7) in Washington (4-6), Monday

Opening line: Seattle -2

Seattle and Washington will wrap up Week 12 when they wrap up Monday night. Seattle was originally a 2-point favorite, but this game later moved into picks. Seahawks – who are about to lose Quantity – played well on Mondays, ATS 4-1 in their last five competitions. They will, however, face some tough competition in Washington, which just won against Carolina. After the last 8 consecutive wins, Washington won 6-2 ATS. Both of these clubs have also played poorly against teams with a losing record, possessing a combined ATS record of 6-14 in their last 10 games in that context, so something needs to be done. there.
